What Business English certificates are available? 

Business English certificates are dynamic and practical courses with an emphasis on developing your communication language around key topics and skills that can be applied to a workplace. You will study General English in the morning in international classes followed by 10 lessons in the afternoon targeting topics such as:

The courses are comprised of General English classes in the morning combined with afternoon classes on different business topics such as marketing, sales, digital citizenship, entrepreneurship, social media or leadership in today's world. The business classes in the afternoon may combine one or more topics listed above and provide an engaging platform for students to learn about the world of business and showcase their own expertise of the subject leaving room for great insights into the real business world.

What level of English is required to take these Business English Certificate courses?

To be eligible to enrol on our English for business professional certificates, you will need to possess a reasonably competent level of English ability. At a minimum you must have a level B1 on the Council of Europe’s Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), which assesses a person’s aptitude with the language. 

In simple terms, this will mean you have an ‘intermediate’ level of English, where you have moved beyond the basics of the language but would not yet be able to study or work exclusively in English. 

We offer an English level test which anyone can take. It involves 80 questions and, depending on your level, will probably take you from 15 to 25 minutes. Once you complete the online English test, you'll get an email with your results that will tell you your probable level.
